great seedling
great seedling
I have been growing this seedling on for several years now. It's a cross of Seashell Sands x My Stars. Although it has some prickles they are few in number (from My Stars). The foliage is just absolutely gorgeous and very black spot resistant (from Seashell Sands). The bloom is reminiscent of My Stars. The plant, growing in a 15 gal container seems bushy and very thickly foliated. Not much fragrance. As a life-long musician and big band aficianado my plan is to name it Shiny Stockings - a tune made popular by Count Basie.

Really nice Stephen!!!
[By the way, does anyone know of commercial sources for 'My Stars' and or 'Gina's Rose'? They look like nice one's to be working with.]

Very nice! Love the color saturation.

I love the foliage. And that is indeed a great saturation if color. Congrats.

That one always turns my head, Stephen. Glad to hear it continues to impress. And I'm with Tom on those two Moore roses -- I've been keeping my eyes out for such for several years now.
