Re: inside-the-north-texas-fight-to-stop-rose-rosette/
Is there any indication that pruning equipment can spread RRD?
I've reported a grouping of KO roses about 1 1/2 mi. from my house recently. (Panicking) The shrubs are semi-annually sheered by the landscape company that services the commercial property. Half the plants are dead/dying already, and the rest aren't looking too good. They are on a commercial corridor where, naturally, the KO rose is amply planted in at least one or two plantings along every block (as one approaches my house...)
I worry that it's just a matter of time before they arrive chez moi, but I am also panicking about roses that I have recently purchased in view of the information I'm reading. Everything sold here comes from Tyler, or another location in a county suffering the ravages, and who knows what they get exposed to in the POP lots as well, where plants from so many vendors come together.
