Has anyone done well with this rose in breeding. I find the parentage interesting, as it accounts for the shape of the bloom, which I. Interested in. Wondering if it will help keep the form and fragrance I want while adding some cold hardiness.
Any luck recovering rebloom?
Thanks for input!

Re: Any luck with Wasagaming?
This year I got about 18 seedlings from Wasagaming x Campfire- none had juvenile bloom and all were scrawny and mildewy. Pitched them. I have one seedling of Easy Going x Wasagaming that looks ok.

Thanks for the info. I guess I may try it for seed, but will focus on pollen. Leave out campfire as a mate.
I found it at a local nursery and didn't want to pass it up. Something about the thought of Bourbon rose with Rugosa and Woodsi?, Perhaps a different route than English Roses with cold Hardy ones. Anyway, surprised to find it in the States, so thought it would be fun to try. I'll keep an eye out for Charles Albenal (not sure how to spell).
Thanks again!
Oh yeah, any thoughts as to how you would go about using it if you were going to?
