Surprise Golden Eye offspring
Surprise Golden Eye offspring
I've been using Ping Lim's 'Golden Eye' as a pollen parent for several years mainly because it is very BS resistant. I've gotten a real mixed bag of results but this seedling is a shocker!

Another Golden Eye seedling. Has something approaching HT form with Golden Eye's resistance to BS.

Very nice! How has disease resistance been in F1 generation?

Very good - almost totally spot free, although our growing season is so long that few things don't get some spotting (BS, anthracnose, cercospera). I'm very happy with the results.
