Kim, can't you follow 'Lula' around and retrieve the seeds, the system they have been through might do the scarifying for you.

No Kim, sorry for misleading you, in my mind, I "thought" I had to stratify all seeds for germination prior to planting.

Question If I had some seeds now and placed them in some hot water for a period of time ? then planted them straight up would that work with this idea

Just out of curiosity, is the RHA forum and the Rose Hybridizers Assoc two seperate identities for login purposes. Also does this go for 'rosebreeders.org. The reason I ask is I received my second electronic copy of the news letter and mine is still corrupted. So I went to the link and used my forum...

For those that log in and see something different, will see a new Avatar, we lost our rose. The new one is cool, it is very rose related as "he" is the original pollinator of our roses I guess. Does anyone know who posed for the shot ?
