repeat bloom in Wasagaming???

I just noticed some blooms forming on Wasagaming, mixed in with the golden fall foliage. Does it normally repeat if given a long enough season.
It was blooming when I first saw it in the nursery months ago, when I resisted the urge to buy it. It had hips forming on it when it went on sale, so I purchased it. Now it has more buds forming. Repeat bloom? Really long, as in over three months, bloom period?
-what are your experiences with Wasagaming's bloom time?
-will it pass on repeat bloom to offspring?
- or how many generations to recover repeat bloom?

I am planning on using its pollen, although will attempt to use any seeds if hips do form. The hips all dried up.
I will try to attach pictures.
Thanks for any info!
Duane

Help Me Find-Roses shares the statement "Occasional repeat later in the season." so it seems repeat isn't that unusual. Climate could easily affect "repeat". We frequently receive odd repeat bloom here due to the climate. Banksiae lutescens is flowering for the third time since the initial spring flush. IXL is also "repeating",but for the fourth time since the large initial flush. And, last week, I had an odd bloom on a seedling R. Primula I raised from seed. Weather can do the strangest things!

Thanks Kim! I have never been in a climate like this before, so odd to see how different things can be. Perhaps not odd, just very different than what I am used to. It will be interesting to see what the odds of it passing on repeat will be.

Wasagaming blooms in one main flush for me, which lasts for about 3-4 weeks. I do not get repeat bloom, however my season is very short.

You're welcome, Duane. Yes, climate makes all the difference. Dr. E.M.Mills flowered twice then threw a few odd flowers about a month ago.
