There likely isn't a definitive answer but several roses produce extra sepals. So far I have seen references/photos of it on Lorraine Lee, Rose Du Roi, Paul Neyron but checking their named descendants extra sepals don't seem to appear (at least not in any offspring that are named).
Just wondering if anyone knows other examples?
Anyone know if it's inheritable?
Could be an interesting thing to add into crested lines.
