Finally after 20years

First serious efforts ... after 20 years gaining growing experience with some major inventory revisions ... pollen (stigmas) collected from half dozen well known private prairie old timers legacies plus old Ag Canada roses that past the test of time in my garden ... and one cross done for now

Nelly Kelly x Suzanne
Suzanne x Nelly Kelly

... waiting for my four legacy hardy Gallicas to begin bloom

Thanks Duane ... stumbled into 1st pollen handling and prep mistake ... lag time between early roses of interest for pollen donation and those later blooming targeted to pollinate (to add cold hardiness ... maybe?) ... must of not stored and dried pollen heads long enough ... turned dark which I assume was due to inadequate drying and unlikely to be viable ... but still some late blooms from spring ones to salvage more pollen
