Can anyone share experiences using AC de Montarville as a parent either direction and how disease resistant it is? I read the patent which states that no hips were observed. I've ordered this one for spring delivery and am thinking I'll probably need to use this as the pollen parent.

Dammit, Rob, why do you keep getting interesting roses that I should probably have? I feel like I'm trying to keep up with the Byrnes's here.

LOL Good one Joe! I can't believe I didn't find out about this one much earlier. I think the patent has expired so if you want cuttings or want me to try to root a plant for you let me know.

As you know, Rob, "no hips observed" means virtually nothing. MANY of Moore's roses for which "no hips were observed" turned out to set copious fruit in the ground, away from the nursery.

You are absolutely right about that Kim. Thank you for reminding me. I'll try this one both ways.
