Here is a first bloom on this seedling. It is disease free and should be very hardy. I don’t know if there will be repeat bloom yet. I was hoping for a shade of yellow but the bloom form is very pleasing.

Hi Rob, I to was hoping for yellow, as it appears it is the color you are chasing. Any other seedlings from the cross.

Thank you Kim!

Hi David. This is the only plant I have from this cross. Yes, I was hoping for a shade of yellow from this but I'm happy with the bloom form so I won't complain. :-) I have two other crosses using PP that I'm waiting for blooms:

Clare Grammerstorf x PP
Morning Magic x PP

That is a nice flower. Difficult task to expect yellow from something that is so rugosa. I find that even without rugosa, PP loves to produce white or pink.

Thanks Jackie. I have a few other seedlings using PP as the dad. Maybe I’ll get yellow from Clare Grammerstof x PP.
