A Good parent for adding BS resistance

A little known rose, 'Seashell Sands,' has proven to be both highly resistant to black spot and a fertile seed parent that successfully passes on exceptional blackspot resistance to its offspring. The seedling pictured is a cross with R. Moore's 'My Stars.'

Foliage is looking great - hasn't been sprayed with anything since germinating.

Thank you for the tip, Stephen. Although the parentage does not portend Zone 3 hardiness, it's interesting to have combined The Fairy's health with Knockout's health.

I just sent an email to Cool Roses inquiring if they have any for sale.

Is that a first year seedling and is that a recent photo?

The picture of the seedling was taken yesterday. The seedling germinated in 2014 and has been in a succession of pots since. Its bloom color and form leans more towards 'My Stars.' The pink rose pictured is 'Seashell Sands.'

Lovely seedling Stephen!
How is the bloom pattern? perpetual (continual bloom) or in flushes/cycles (rebloom)?

Continuous bloom in small sprays of 3 or so with nice cutting stems. It has really captured the attention of visitors to the garden.
