I have also included a link to a short video of the rose from my Facebook page
https://www.facebook.com/anthony.wallis ... 704951521/
The video shows the foliage and plant much better this has never been sprayed with anything apart from water from the hose to wash off the bugs and in the 14 months since germination has never shown any blackspot or powdery mildew I hope it continues this way. Fragrance is moderate to strong and is a blend of both its parents fragrances leaning slightlt towards Eyes for You

Nice contrast to the reverse.
Anthony, did you do any other crosses with Eyes for You that were worth keeping?

It has been my only successful germination featureing Eyes for You and will be the last until I source another E4Y as mine was killed by RoundUp spray drift :(

Looks like a very healthy specimen Anthony!
I haven't had anything worth keeping from Eyes for You to date. Though, I haven't totally given up yet and used some frozen pollen from last year on Julia Child and one of my own roses this year. So fingers crossed!

Yes Sharlene it is very healthy it is now 16 months old and still has only ever been sprayed with water from the hose to wash off mites and aphids and still no black spot or mildew we are just entering black spot season here and other roses are falling victim to BS but not this seedling to date its seed parent is dropping BS infected leaves like crazy but this seedling the leaves go yellow and drop with no BS
