Thanks every one , I have put the breeding on the bottom of the pic so you can check it out. A few of these have been crossed over Hybrid Musks, Hybrid Multiflora and the Kathleen X Pauls Himalayan Musk Rambler I have.

Thank you JT
Thank you David, this represents a lot of work which has been a pleasure to do. I have seedlings growing from seed given to me from Joe, Metis, Anne Endt, R. nitida, R. foliolosa, Ross Rambler No.4 and Jackies [(R. calocarpa x R. nutkana) x R. acicularis], which have been put on to F2/F3 Hybrid virginiana's. This Spring is going to be an interesting one indeed.

Two seedlings from previous years, Both are F2 Hybrids which have shown repeat blooming.
Seedlings O22P56 Type 4 and O22P56 Type 5. Both are full doubles, O22P56 Type 4 colouring is mid pink with slight apricot hues while O22P56 Type 5 colouring is mid pink with more cerise hues. Both tolerated the extreme heat over the last week.

Warren, where did your original virginiana come from? Was is a single cultivar?
What doesn't kill them makes them stronger.

Don, the R.virginiana was bought from a rose nursery here in OZ , it was a single. When it was crossed with Kordes Sympathie, the offspring varied from singles , semi doubles and a full double pink , all ,only bloom in the Spring.
