Yes, I think that's a holy grail--foliage so attractive, you're happy to have it even when out of bloom.

Here is Stephen's earlier post on this seedling from last year. Foliage appears to set off nice blooms too.

That is some gorgeous foliage, and a very impressive pedigree. (Ah, yes... But how does it look come September? ;-) ) I think that's a cross worth repeating a few times -- there is a LOT of potential in the genotype, IMO. Is she as floriferous as the pedigree suggests she might be?

I've posted photos of this seedlings' foliage before, but as the plant matures I continue to be impressed. It is a cross of Seashell Sands x My Stars. Has some prickles and bloom has the color of My Stars (not blooming just yet). I will be asking breeder Mike Athy for permission to propagate Seashell Sands - it's a great mother.
